The Coolidge Scholarship

The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, merit-based scholarship awarded to high school students who demonstrate exceptional academic ability and leadership potential. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition, room, board, and other expenses for up to four years of undergraduate studies at any accredited college or university in the United States. The scholarship is awarded by the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the legacy of President Calvin Coolidge.

The scholarship program is open to high school juniors from the United States who demonstrate excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, and leadership. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale and have taken the PSAT, SAT, or ACT.

The application process for the Coolidge Scholarship includes submitting an online application, transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendation, and participating in an interview process. The scholarship is highly selective, and the foundation generally awards only 20 scholarships each year. The scholarship is not based on financial need.

The scholarship is named after President Calvin Coolidge, who served as the 30th President of the United States from 1923 to 1929. The scholarship program is designed to honor his legacy and to encourage and support the next generation of leaders. Please note that scholarship programs may change, so it would be always a good idea to check the foundation's website or contact them directly for the most up-to-date information on the scholarship and the application process.
